This Privacy Notice explains how Fiscaloom handles personal data when you visit this website, request information, communicate with us, or participate in a process diagnostic or other pre-contract activity. Customer production data is governed by the applicable order form, statement of work, and data-processing terms.

1. Scope and role

This Notice applies to personal data collected through Fiscaloom’s public website, events, commercial communications, and process-diagnostic activities. It does not replace a customer’s own privacy obligations or the contractual data-processing terms agreed for a production implementation.

Depending on the activity, Fiscaloom may determine why and how website or commercial-contact data is processed. For customer production workflows, the parties’ contract will define their respective roles and responsibilities.

This Notice is interpreted under the laws applicable in the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data where it applies.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical information generated when you use the website. Please do not submit confidential business records, sensitive personal data, production credentials, or customer files through a public inquiry form.

  • Business contact details, such as name, work email, company, role, and region
  • Inquiry details, including the process area, systems, objectives, and messages you provide
  • Meeting and commercial records, such as attendees, notes, follow-up actions, and proposal status
  • Technical data, such as IP address, browser type, device information, referring page, and security events
  • Website usage data collected through essential or consented analytics technologies

3. How we use personal data

Fiscaloom uses personal data for defined business, security, and legal purposes. We do not use public-inquiry data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

  • Respond to inquiries and arrange process diagnostics, demonstrations, or commercial discussions
  • Assess process fit, prepare proposals, statements of work, and implementation planning
  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and communication channels
  • Maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse, and establish or defend legal rights
  • Send relevant business communications where permitted and respect opt-out requests
  • Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, accounting, and law-enforcement requirements

4. Legal grounds

We process personal data where consent has been provided, where processing is necessary to take steps requested before entering into a contract or to perform a contract, where required by law, or where a legitimate business interest is permitted and is not overridden by the rights of the individual.

Where applicable law requires consent—for example, for non-essential cookies or certain marketing communications—we will request it and provide a way to withdraw it.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Fiscaloom may use essential technologies required for security, navigation, preferences, and reliable operation. Optional analytics or marketing technologies should be activated only where a suitable notice and consent mechanism is available.

Browser controls may allow you to delete or block cookies. Blocking essential technologies can affect website functionality.

6. When personal data is shared

Fiscaloom may share personal data with service providers that support hosting, security, analytics, communications, scheduling, customer relationship management, professional advice, and business operations. Providers may use the data only for the agreed service and subject to appropriate obligations.

We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect rights or security, in connection with a corporate transaction, or when you direct or authorize the disclosure. Fiscaloom does not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Website and commercial-service providers may process personal data outside the country where it was collected. Where cross-border protections are required, Fiscaloom will use an approved transfer mechanism, contractual safeguards, or another lawful basis appropriate to the transfer.

8. Retention

Fiscaloom retains personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this Notice, including responding to an inquiry, managing a commercial relationship, meeting legal or accounting requirements, resolving disputes, and protecting the website.

Retention periods vary by record type. When data is no longer required, it is deleted, anonymized, or securely isolated unless a legal hold or other lawful requirement applies.

9. Security

Fiscaloom uses administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No internet transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

If you believe information has been submitted to Fiscaloom in error or a security issue affects your data, use the contact method described below as soon as possible.

10. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may ask whether Fiscaloom processes your personal data and request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or a portable copy. You may withdraw consent where processing depends on consent and may opt out of marketing communications.

Fiscaloom may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity and protect personal data before completing a request. You may also have the right to complain to the competent data-protection authority.

11. Children

Fiscaloom’s website and services are intended for business users and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children through the public website.

12. Changes to this Notice

Fiscaloom may update this Notice to reflect changes in law, services, or data practices. The effective date will be updated when a revised Notice is published. Material changes may also be communicated through an additional website notice where appropriate.

13. Contact and applicable law

Privacy questions and rights requests may be submitted to hello@fiscaloom.com or through the contact method provided during an engagement. Identify the message as a Privacy Request and include enough detail to locate the relevant interaction, but do not send passwords, production credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information.

This Notice is intended to reflect the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 Regarding the Protection of Personal Data and other privacy laws that apply to the relevant processing activity. A person may also have the right to raise a complaint with the competent supervisory or data-protection authority.

Without limiting any mandatory statutory right or complaint route, disputes concerning this Notice are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
